The Big First Aid Lessons are a series of short first aid programmes. Each lesson covers different first aid topics, in real life scenarios with easy-to-follow first aid demonstrations.

You can download a new lesson every term to watch with your class. You can also finish the school year with our annual live event, The Big First Aid Lesson Live.

The Big First Aid Lesson Live

14:00 – 15:00 Friday 17th June 2016

Live and free, the nation’s biggest first aid lesson returns to schools across the country on 17 June 2016.

The Big First Aid Lesson Live, sponsored by Network Rail and Personal Group, is a free, interactive hour-long online programme streamed live into classrooms. It’s filmed in front of a live audience of students and will be hosted by Dr Ranj, the cocreator and presenter of the hugely popular CBeebies’ show, Get Well Soon.

This year, we’re going to be covering a whole range of topics including choking, seizures and insect bites. But this will be a lesson with a difference – there’ll be live demos, incredible real life stories, chances to ask questions, and other interactive elements.

We hope that by making first aid accessible, easy to learn, and even fun students will walk out feeling confident they could one day be a life saver.
